Her song "Shout to the Lord," released in 1995, became internationally renowned and marked the beginning of her recognition as a songwriter of worship songs. In 2007, she passed on her role as worship pastor to Reuben Morgan because touring around the world was no longer compatible with it.
In January 2011, after 25 years, she and her husband Mark Zschech bid farewell to Hillsong Church. They became pastors of Church Unlimited in New South Wales.
